First sales position for our new sales and service subsidiary in Istanbul, Turkey.
Important: Place of work will be in Istanbul
About the job:
Job objective:
In this role, the Sales Engineer hired in our sales and service subsidiary in Turkey, will and will be part of the Sales Department and will report to head of Sales.
The holder of this role will establish local customer accounts with the support of our International Sales office and expand the business by making sure that the customers have the solutions available to fit their needs.

In this role, the Sales Engineer hired in our sales and service subsidiary in Turkey, will and will be part of the Sales Department and will report to head of Sales.
The holder of this role will establish local customer accounts with the support of our International Sales office and expand the business by making sure that the customers have the solutions available to fit their needs.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the sales of the entire SMA product range
- Develops long-lasting relationships by providing professional technical solutions and consultation for our innovative solar inverters.
- Maintains and expands business with existing key accounts and acquires new distribution partners and direct customers.
- Prepares tenders for photovoltaic projects.
- Cooperate in carrying out market research.
- Prioritizes markets and determines market entry strategies for new regions.
- Sets ambitious targets and devises concrete plans to achieve them on international and national levels.
- Attends trade shows and conferences.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor´s degree in Electrical Engineering or Business Administration combined with a keen affinity for technical products.
- At least 5 years of working experience as a customer-oriented sales professional in indirect selling mainly with key accounts and partners of sophisticated technical products, ideally in an internationally oriented company
- Knowledge of the Turkish electricity market
- Excellent communication skills and sound technical knowledge, coupled with a dynamic approach to sales.
- Very good Turkish and English language skills, knowledge of German would be a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the country and neighboring countries, attend training in Germany as required.
- Highly customer and success-oriented, flexible and able to work as part of a team.
Training:
- At least 2 weeks at our Headquarters in Niestetal, Germany
