We are the youngest division of AES Technology GmbH, specializing in opto-electronics, and are based in Göttingen. As an innovative and forward-thinking team, we focus on developing high-performance, embedded vision systems.

Your Tasks

As part of a thesis (Bachelor's / Master's), a practical semester, or as a working student (m/f/d), you can work on exciting and challenging topics in the field of internal tool development with us and help shape them.

Have you already automated small projects, worked with scripting languages like Python, designed web interfaces, or even gained experience with embedded platforms such as Arduino, ESP32, RaspberryPi, or FPGA / SoCs? - Then we are exactly the right fit for you!

• Development and implementation of tools and processes to increase company efficiency

• Verification and documentation of created tools and projects (Jira, Confluence)

• Research and establishment of new technologies, implementation of prototypes

• Work in a chosen area of interest: Software, FPGA, Verification, Systems Engineering

Your Profile

• Studies in (technical) computer science, electrical engineering, engineering, physics, or similar disciplines

• Knowledge in the areas of software and digital technology, possibly image processing

• Initial experience with, e.g., Python / Web technologies / CI/CD / Git / C / Linux / VHDL / SystemVerilog / Xilinx SoCs / cocotb… etc.

• A results-oriented, systematic, and independent working style, as well as a high level of teamwork and communication skills

• Good English skills
