Your responsibilities:

Do you want to help shape the future and contribute your knowledge of data governance to a leading company? Then be our new Data Governance Analyst (all gender) at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA at our headquarters in Einbeck, Germany. As a member of the R&D Digital Product and Technology Development group, you will establish trust in R&D data and work together with different stakeholders in R&D and Business Units. The contract for this role is full-time and unlimited. After an onboarding phase you will have the chance to agree on remote work within Germany.

In detail, you will be responsible for the following:

• Define standards, policies, and procedures to assure data connectivity and application of FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) principles.
• Establishing a metadata management and cataloging system; and or working on data graphs (at the beginning hands-on work required).
• Establish source of truth data (create master tables from aligned standards) 
• Create operating model to classify R&D data based on its value and criticality to organization and work collaboratively with Global IT, compliance, and quality teams to align on data requirements.
• Work collaboratively with external service providers to establish data governance tools.

Your profile:

Contribute your strengths:

• University degree or equivalent certification in computer science or related field plus hands-on professional experience within data governance OR
• University degree plus master’s in data governance or data science or data governance certifications
• Project management skills
• Willingness to develop competences and pursue career on data governance with availability to participate in external courses if required.
• Ability to drive topics to solve problems
• Strong communication skills in fluent English language, German is a plus
